These original lectures are based on the Series of 116 recorded talks (transposed by L. Mendel from the original wire recordings), given in Johannesburg and Pretoria, South Africa, from 1949 to 1954. There were a number of missing lectures that have been provided by friends in South Africa and my thanks goes out to them for their timely assistance to make the set complete.

Your Silent Partner - Cosmic Consciousness by Murdo MacDonald-Bayne

Since this information may be of interest to new MMB readers I thought of setting it down as an introductory explanation regarding the collaborated efforts of Paul Troxler and myself beginning in 1979 with over 116 recorded lectures on wire recordings sent by Paul and transposed by me in Canada and then made available to the general public; and from 1981 onwards for the MMB original lecture notes prepared in manuscripts, some of which were published in Canada.
It was due to our initial groundbreaking efforts that there now exists a substantial
MacDonald-Bayne legacy published posthumously, and I am certain that "Dr Mac"
would be pleased with this continued effort over the years to provide his
recordings and published works, some of which date back to an earlier period.
Paul Troxler of Pretoria, South Africa, compiled the MacDonald-Bayne original
lecture notes in 1977, see photo at right which I took of him and his collection
during my first visit in October 1977 to meet with the students of Dr Bayne.
In 1980 I was informed by Paul that it was at the suggestion of Mr. David Nagle, the
director of L.N. Fowler Co. in England, original publisher of all MacDonald-Bayne books, that
the manuscripts submitted to them by Paul and myself should omit all dates. It was to be in the form of a reading book and not a chronological study manual. This was understandable as dates would, in a publisher's opinion, soon place the material as outdated in the general public's view. Any newcomer arriving on the scene twenty years later with intent to correct MMB text would not have had access to the guided instructions given by Mr. Nagle and that would obviously be their error in judgment due to not knowing the facts of the matter.
When I prepared to publish Your Silent Partner - Cosmic Consciousness in 2002 there was an incident at the time of pirating my material by an outside source in the southern hemisphere to serve their agenda but this was dealt with by Ian Miller, director of C.W. Daniel Ltd. in England, who issued a warning and the source agreed to desist, so I was able to proceed undisturbed with the publishing as per my Agreement with L.N. Fowler Ltd.
The posthumous works of MacDonald-Bayne which I published in 1984 such as the Monthly Letters(The Sanctuary of the Silent Healing Power) had some Letters missing according to date at the first printing. However, in 2002 there was timely assistance offered me by other MMB students, both young and old, in South Africa, particularly Bozena Kalinic who was able to locate those needed and forwarded them to me in Canada so that I was able to complete the work on this series.
At the time of completing Your Silent Partner - Cosmic Consciousness by Murdo MacDonald-Bayne, I was also very much involved in publishing the Transcripts as a study manual with dates included, and intended as a companion to the 116 MacDonald-Bayne recorded lectures which I also sell on cassettes. The dates ranged from 1949 to 1954 and drew upon the Pretoria and Johannesburg original lecture notes where and when available. It was a busy time!
