An old friend of ours came to visit us a few days ago and gave us the answer we were looking for a long time, about the recordings of the series, "The Master Speaks Again." This is amazing but here is the secret. One day when visiting Louis Thomas, our friend was shown the box containing the wire recordings of that particular series and, you may not believe it, but here it is. In the box there was a heap of disintegrated steel, looking very much like ashes. So there we are, they have been dematerialised and reduced to nothing so that the people will not attach themselves to phenomena and realise that Truth-Reality is the substance of our being.
We know now and will not worry any more about those recordings."

Louis Thomas was the person who owned and operated the wire recorder during all of Dr Mac's lectures. Regrettably he kept the wire recordings privately for decades after Dr Mac's passing. However, at one point Louis decided to give all of them to a friend, who then passed away shortly after. The next of kin acquired them and gave permission to Paul Troxler to use and attempt to play the wire recordings, which were mainly the lectures given in Pretoria, with a few from Johannesburg, and the time period for these lectures was approximately 1948 to 1954. NOTE: Some recorded lectures are of poor quality (i.e., breaks in the wires which interrupt a sentence or word; a thunderstorm; a marching parade going by) so the public should not expect perfect reproduction. Overall, however, they are acceptable for the dedicated MMB follower.
