Recollections of Dr. Mac

I had gone to Miss Baggot-Smith's house for chiropractic treatment by Dr. MacDonald-Bayne and was lying relaxing after the treatment while Dr. Mac was speaking to a man in the adjoining room. The man had come to ask for Dr. Mac's advice about some shares and I thought "How interesting! I shall listen to this and maybe be able to pass on some valuable information to my father-in-law about the share market."
Immediately I blacked out and remembered no more until Dr. Mac came to wake me up. He had obviously caught my thoughts and made sure that I would not hear what was being discussed!

I was 12 when I had my two meetings with Dr. Mac. We lived in Pretoria at the time and I had an incurable cough according to the doctors. I would cough for hours each morning. My mother took me to Dr. Mac. He explained to me that he did not do the actual healing and in a natural, simple way he told me how the healing would be done. I understood, and he turned to my mother who was also in the room, and told her that I was very receptive. My mother was pleased, as she seemed to understand so much about the "presence." After my two visits I was healed.

In 1950 my mother became ill, she suffered with severe nerve problems. She heard about Dr. Bayne via her friend who was a student of his. My mother consulted him, and within a short period of time she was completely cured. He massaged her spine and taught her how to relax. Needless to say she was a new person after being treated by Dr. Bayne. They became firm friends and stayed so for many years.
When I was 14 yrs. old I became ill with chicken pox. My mother phoned Dr. Bayne, he told her not to worry, he would send his 'dogs' (spirits) out to look after me. I became well in a very short period.
In ... , my mother saw Dr. Bayne coming into her room during the night. That was the first vision of any kind she ever had. Exactly a week later she died tragically in a car accident.
