When the mind is freed from its own formulations, its beliefs, its ideas, there comes a silence beyond time, a silence in which you become conscious of the Reality of your Being.
In this freedom is the releasing of the Creative Energy, with a conscious directive Power that is unknown to the ordinary man.

A FEW WORDS OF EXPLANATION:
There has been an amount of controversy regarding the last two books, "Beyond the Himalayas" and its sequel, "The Yoga of the Christ" by Murdo MacDonald-Bayne.
Although I am not a "legal mind" by any means, I simply would like to pass along what I know about the copyrights.
From what I understand it was not long after Dr. MacDonald-Bayne's death in mid-1950s that a legal decision in a court case was arrived at in England which ruled against the last two published books and they were ordered pulled and to be confiscated. I had corresponded three decades ago with the original publishers of these books and the director had written me how he deplored the unfortunate turn of events as it was a considerable loss to their company financially. Basically this meant that no copyright holder was acknowledged or had any legal rights to the books and they were in time regarded as open in the public domain.
There have been a few opportunists who came along over the years and attempted to claim the books as theirs by right to print, and with ISBN numbers as well. One such occurred well over a decade ago and charged exorbitant prices, which speaks for itself, you might say. I expect there might be others who would attempt the same device of claiming ownership.
However, the fact remains that a legal decision had been made to disclaim any copyright or ownership. That much I know.
For several years now these two books have been made available on the world wide web for free reading plus downloading, and several websites are providing that for interested readers. I myself have provided as much and make no claims to ownership. As I said, I am not that familiar with all the legalities, but for now I stand by my opinion that they are in the public domain and not under copyright to anyone which, if they were, would involve royalty payments, and to my knowledge this has not been the case. I stand to be corrected if proven wrong on this matter.
Currently all other materials I have produced and published, based on the books and recordings under the name of Murdo MacDonald-Bayne, are copyrighted and royalty payments are submitted to the copyright holders through Random House, in England.
Please be advised.
